Two weeks ago, I was in a small restaurant in Port Williams, Nova Scotia called The Noodle Guy. At that time news was just starting to break about the rapid spread of the virus and the probable restrictions being placed on virtually every aspect of our lives.
From a safe distance I had a quick conversation with the owner who was telling me how they planned to limit food service to take out and delivery only the following week. As we ended our conversation, he said quite confidently, “We’ll get through this together.” To him, “we” meant his staff, his customers, his suppliers, and his local community.
As I’ve watched this public health crisis worsen considerably since then, his words have stayed with me and it struck me that we have no choice but to support each other in this time of need. No one is unaffected by this crisis.
So, in our small way, we would like to do what we can to help by offering you a free copy download copy of my book PINNACLE: How to Land the Right Job and Find Fulfillment in Your Career.
While this is first and foremost a public health crisis which must be wrestled to the ground through social distancing and other measures, I know a lot of you (or your family or friends) have been impacted already by job loss. Or, if you haven’t been impacted, I am sure you are worried about what the future holds.
Honestly, I hope you don’t have to use the information contained within the book. But if you do, you will find many useful job searching tips.
You can download your free copy here.
Feel free to share it with anybody who needs help.
