In this role, you will report to the Executive Vice President and General Manager and oversee all aspects of finance and accounting including financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, costing, and compliance. You will also play a key role in their forward planning by developing and implementing the financial strategy of Graybar Canada and its subsidiaries.
As a member of the senior leadership team, you will serve as an advisor to the divisional Vice Presidents and the Board of Directors by assisting them with their financial plans and economic modeling.
As the ideal candidate, you hold a professional accounting designation (CPA) and have several years’ experience working in industry in senior controllership positions. You have strong leadership and management skills in addition to your technical skills in accounting, finance, and administration. While you enjoy being “hands on”, you also bring a strategic mindset to guide the organization in making sound financial business decisions. A solid understanding of U.S. GAAP is preferred.
