The law firm, Weldon McInnis, has been a part of the social and economic fabric of the community since its early beginnings in 1955 in downtown Dartmouth. Its lawyers and staff contribute their time and talent as volunteers, fundraisers, and public representatives, and make it a priority to give back.
The firm has now grown well beyond Dartmouth to include clients from across Canada and internationally. Because of this growth, they are now seeking an experienced, like-minded professional as its first Chief Operating Officer.

You have the flexibility and willingness to manage all the tactical, day-to-day business issues of the firm, while at the same time be able to rise above and see the longer-term strategic issues that affect the growth and prosperity of the firm.
Experience and skill in managing all levels of human resources is of key importance. Your past experience demonstrates that you value and respect the contributions made by all employees and encourage personal and professional development at all levels of the firm.
As COO, you will engender confidence and credibility by virtue of your presence, demeanor, leadership skills, and professional qualifications. You communicate complex information and ideas effectively and make sound, well-reasoned decisions.
