The company is poised for continued growth and is now seeking a seasoned financial professional as Chief Financial Officer to support this growth.
What qualities are needed as CFO?
In this role, you will report directly to the President and CEO and be responsible for providing strong leadership in the areas of finance and accounting. Supervising a team 15 people including two controllers and managers of inventory and credit, you will oversee all financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, cash management, insurance, risk management, internal controls, taxation, and banking.
You will also participate in the 8-member management committee and serve as the key contact person with the company’s external accountants, bankers, lawyers, and insurance and benefits providers.
As the ideal candidate, you are a CPA with significant industry experience. In addition to your well-developed expertise skills in finance and accounting, you have proven organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Most importantly, you are a strong leader who can operate easily at both the tactical and strategic level.
