Manager of EPR Compliance - Hybrid Filled

Divert NS is a not-for-profit based in Truro, NS, focused on supporting the province to recycle and live in more sustainable ways. Through a combination of stewardship programs and multiple initiatives, they provide new opportunities and approaches to waste diversion and reduction. 

On their behalf, we are seeking a Manager of EPR Compliance to join their head office team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Oversight, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EPR Regulation through the registration of producers, PROs, and municipalities participating in EPR and the enforcement of reporting completeness and accuracy by registered parties.

What qualities are needed in this role?

You have a post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field such as business, policy, regulatory compliance, or finance.

As the ideal candidate, you are a highly collaborative leader with a track record of building and maintaining constructive stakeholder relationships.

Your ability to effectively delegate and manage multiple competing deadlines and your well-honed decision-making and problem-solving skills will enable you to thrive in this highly dynamic environment.

You are skilled at analyzing complex issues from different angles and have a knack for identifying anomalies that others may overlook. People can count on you to offer valuable insights and solutions to even the most intricate problems.

Having prior experience working in a regulatory compliance role is a definite asset.

The salary range for this role is $88,605- $106,113.
