Region of Windsor West Hants
Our firm was selected to oversee all the organizational and human resource aspects of integrated the workforces of the Town of Windsor and Municipality of the District of West Hants. One of the key bodies of work was the development new salary bands and salary scales for 85 positions in the combined entity, which came into effect April 1, 2020.
CPA Atlantic School of Business
This professional body asked us to conduct a compensation review for its 15 positions, as well as provide recommendations on a strategic compensation framework to ensure they would be able to find, keep, and motivate qualified employees.
Municipality of the District of Guysborough
The Municipality of the District of Guysborough asked us to complete a salary review for its 45 full-time, 16 part-time and 20 seasonal employees, as well as its eight elected officials, to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness with like-sized municipal units in Nova Scotia.
Major food manufacturer
We helped the Board of Directors of a privately-held food processing facility design a compensation package for its Chief Executive Officer that included a determination of fair market value base salary plus an incentive package that aligned the CEO’s bonus with overall company performance.
Municipality of the County of Kings
We completed a comprehensive salary review for 16 non-union positions for the Municipality of the County of Kings. The main purpose of the review was to ensure the Municipality was paying fair and competitive wages to attract and retain top talent in their organization.
Charlottetown Airport Authority
The Charlottetown Airport Authority asked us to review the compensation package of their Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team. The review included base salary, bonus, vacation, pension contribution, and car allowance.
YMCA of Greater Saint John
The YMCA of Greater Saint John was seeking a review of its compensation plan for the President and CEO and five Vice Presidents to ensure internal pay equity and external competitiveness. We provided a comprehensive set of recommendations that covered salary ranges, benefits, vacation, promotion guidelines, and bonuses.
