DISMISSAL SUPPORT
We also provide dismissal support for employers that is fair, respectful and sensitive to all your employees. Prior to termination, we assist with a number of organizational issues including:
- Logistics (location, time of day, etc.)
- Establishing terms of separation (severance package)
- Deciding who should do the termination and who else should attend
- Determining what should be said and not said
- Gauging potential reactions and anticipating contingencies
- Planning what to tell co-workers
- Positioning and introducing career transition support services
We can attend the workplace while terminations take place. This enables us to provide immediate support and to help people adjust to the new situation and to anticipate short- term concerns and reactions - both their own and others. We are also there for the manager, who may require additional coaching or advice regarding the process.
