Sales Specialist Our client, a leading Internet email marketing pioneer with offices in Europe and North America, is seeking a Sales Specialist, based in Halifax. In this exciting role, you will lead their North American sales activities, which are focused primarily in the United States. Using a combination of travel to the US (about six times a year) and telephone sales, you will pursue new business opportunities and develop key accounts to grow their revenue in this marketplace. Working independently, but with strong support from their home office in Europe and their customer service team in Halifax, you will attend industry trade shows and identify key prospects for this company’s products. As the ideal candidate, you have relevant sales experience, preferably in a technology based field. You are comfortable interacting with clients of all sizes and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. You are a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and plan your time accordingly. Additionally, you are highly proficient with technology, knowledgeable of email marketing solutions, and accustomed to working in a fast-paced atmosphere. Compensation includes a base salary in the $40,000 - $45,000 range, plus an incentive equal to 5% of gross sales generated. You will also be issued an iMac computer. |
