Director of Accounting and Finance Our client, one of the leading and most successful companies in its field, is seeking an experienced financial professional for this key senior role. Reporting to the President and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership in the areas of accounting, finance and administration. Supervising an experienced staff, you will oversee all financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, management reporting and information systems. In this role, you will provide an ongoing interpretation of the financial and operational data to all members of the senior management team and the Executive Committee.You will provide valuable support to the President in working with the company’s bankers and lenders on financing matters. You will also oversee all government and regulatory reporting, payroll and benefits administration, and internal control systems. As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced financial professional with a high level of technical knowledge and business acumen. Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, you hold a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) and have well-developed leadership and management strengths. You are a self-motivated, confident individual capable of making decisions with minimal direction.You have the capability and work ethic to manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment. You are well organized and utilize effective time management skills to meet deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills and solid experience working with technology and people are definite assets in this role. |
