Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s largest provider of comprehensive non-medical care services for seniors, with over 800 independently owned and operated franchises around the world. On behalf of the Halifax office, we are seeking a motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Business Development Specialist.

Based in Halifax, your goal is to build the overall business volume for this growing company. You will achieve this objective by identifying and developing respectful partnerships with referral providers, including hospitals, medical services, and the health care community, that will translate into client inquiries for services. Additionally, you will organize and host regular community and marketing events to increase the brand awareness of the company and its services.

As the ideal candidate, you have relevant sales / business development experience, preferably in a health-related field. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, you are a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and plan your time accordingly. You are able to operate autonomously most of the time, but also fit in, as part of an overall client service team, whose purpose is to make a difference in the lives of seniors. An undergraduate degree and proficiency in MS Office are required for this position.
