Customer Service Team Leader

On behalf of our client, a leading Internet marketing pioneer with offices in Europe and North America, we are seeking a Customer Service Team Leader who will promote best practices and quality improvements throughout the customer-centric organization.

Leading a team of 8-12 customer service representatives, who are primarily dedicated to supporting the company’s pioneering turnkey email marketing solution, you will be responsible to motivate team members to achieve excellence in customer service. This will include developing, supporting and managing the team and department goals, monitoring service activities and levels and developing appropriate responses, and facilitating skill development of team members. You will regularly liaise with senior management and the corporate marketing group, and will also facilitate the sharing of best practices between the European and North American customer service teams.

As the ideal candidate, you have several years’ proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a customer support or call center environment. You have outstanding communication skills and are able to maintain your professional demeanor at all times. Additionally, you are highly proficient with technology, including computers and navigating the Internet, and are accustomed to working in a fast-paced atmosphere. With a proven track record of excellence in customer service and team leadership, you possess well-developed communication and leadership skills and enjoy playing the role of coach or mentor.
