Vice President & General Manager Our client is a major franchisee of the world’s largest provider of comprehensive, non-medical home care services for older adults. Due to its continued growth, they are seeking a senior manager with a strong client-service orientation in the newly-created role of Vice President and General Manager. In this key role, you will report to the President and oversee all aspects of their operations including human resources, client care, business development, finance and administration. Through others, you will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of caregivers, ensuring that these ‘front line’ individuals are well trained and motivated. Likewise, you will maintain a highly visible role in the community to ensure a flow of new business from referrals, existing clients, and the development of partnerships. Astute with finances, you will prepare annual operating plans and budgets and maintain an efficient operation to achieve revenue and profitability targets. As the ideal candidate, you have senior level experience in a service-based, entrepreneurial environment. A versatile individual, you bring a blend of skills and experience and are as comfortable dealing with people as you are dealing with numbers. As a person, you are confident and professional, and exercise sound judgment in your decision-making. You understand the importance of client service and can act both strategically and tactically at the same time. You are well organized, manage time effectively, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. |
