Senior Financial Accountant Our client is seeking an accountant professional to join its Financial Reporting team in the role of Senior Financial Accountant. Through an aggressive growth strategy that combines development and acquisitions, this “best in class” company has achieved significant growth and is poised for continued success. As a senior member of the Financial Reporting team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting. Working closely with other team members, you will prepare monthly financial statements, conduct financial analysis, liaise with external auditors during quarterly reviews and interim/annual audits, assist with the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, and work on a variety of other special projects. As the ideal candidate, you have earned or are nearing completion of a professional accounting designation and have a minimum of five years’ accounting experience with a publicly traded organization. In addition to your technical accounting skills, you have strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to communicate well. The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the group is vital in this role. Experience with CEO/CFO certification (or SOX) and knowledge of IFRS would be a definite asset. |
