Regional Sales Manager

Our client, a growth-oriented, independent wholesale beauty supply distributor in Atlantic Canada, is seeking a sales management professional, with exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, to become its Regional Sales Manager.

In this key role, you will manage a team of eight sales representatives ensuring they achieve their sales objectives while meeting the organization’s broader goals and objectives. An organized person and planner by nature, you will establish goals, strategies and sales plans, and will ensure these are implemented successfully through your team. Administratively, you will be responsible for managing revenues and expenses within your span of control, which may include reviewing compensation plans, inventory control and management, accounts receivable management and other key areas. Most importantly, you will coach and motivate your sales staff as they manage relationships with new and existing clients.

As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role in which you have developed strong sales management and people management skills. You are accustomed to leading the coordination efforts between a sales team and other departments including finance, accounting, retail stores and warehouse. As an effective communicator, you have the ability to coach and motivate your employees and have established a solid track record of successfully building sales territories and relationships. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you work well with others and can provide strategic direction and clear thinking to your team. While a university degree is not required, it would be considered an asset.

$75-80K base plus bonus
