Technical Sales Representative

Our client, a privately owned manufacturer and distributor of heavy forestry and construction equipment, is seeking a technically trained business development professional to join its sales team in the role of Technical Sales Representative in Nova Scotia.

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will develop and manage on-going business relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory. You will be responsible to promote and support the sale of all families of equipment sold by the company to a range of clients including owner-operators, fleet owners, and public organizations.

As the ideal candidate, you have a solid understanding of the technical sales process and have proven sales and business development experience in heavy equipment. Ideally, you have knowledge of the forestry and construction industries. Motivated to meet and exceed your sales goals, you use excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to reach your objectives. This company seeks individuals with integrity who perform their jobs in an ethical and courteous manner at all times. An engineering degree, CET designation, or another form of technical training is preferred.
