Chartered Accountant Our client, a well established locally owned public accounting firm is seeking a Chartered Accountant with up to five years’ of public accounting experience to join their team. In this role, you will provide a range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a growing base of clients that span several industries including manufacturing, wholesale, retail, professional services, transportation, construction, and not-for-profit. Serving primarily owner-managed business and self-employed professionals, you will provide consulting services to various other clients in the areas of personal tax, corporate tax, estate planning, and business practices. As the ideal candidate, you are well versed in professional accounting and auditing standards. Genuinely interested in Canadian income tax planning for owners and managers, you also have a thorough understanding of other critical issues facing owner-managed businesses. Always a team player, you are recognized among your peers for a solid work ethic and superior communication skills, particularly in supervisory roles that include file reviews and training. Technically, you have sound knowledge of Microsoft software as well as accounting packages such as CaseWare and CaseView.
