Chartered Accountants Our client, a well-established Bermuda-based company with experience in international investment banking, corporate finance and fund administration, is seeking several Chartered Accountants for its Bermuda head office. This company employs over 150 people worldwide from offices in Bermuda, New York, Toronto, Dublin and Tokyo, and will be opening an office in Halifax in August 2006. As experienced business-oriented individuals, you will perform all fund accounting duties for various portfolios of hedge funds including review and calculation of net asset valuations (“NAV”) on a timely and accurate basis and preparation of NAV reports and financial statements. You will also play a key role in the annual audit process, and will often work closely with internal colleagues, fund auditors, legal professionals and employees of brokerage companies and investment management firms. As the ideal candidate, you have prior experience in the investment industry or public accounting and have gained a first-hand understanding of the criticality of maintaining timely and accurate records and controls. You are an independent thinker, who diligently manages your own time and work, yet are also a committed team player that is willing to go the extra distance to ensure team goals are met. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must for this position, as are solid computer skills. A Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is required. A generous compensation package, including salary and bonus, will be provided in US dollars, not subject to income tax according to Bermuda law. |
