OVERVIEW - Executive Coaching
Through our executive coaching program, The Leadership Marathon, we help professionals and managers to be more successful and productive through a positive, measurable, and sustainable change in their behaviour.
The Leadership Marathon coaching program can be applied in several ways:
We coach managers around performance improvement and change. We do this by helping those individuals better understand the requirements of their jobs, the competencies needed to fulfill those requirements, any gaps in their current performance, and opportunities to improve performance. We then work with the individual, their boss, and colleagues in their workplace to help them fill performance gaps and develop plans for professional growth.
We coach high-potential individuals who have been identified by their companies as key to the organization's future or are part of the organization's succession plan. The focus of the coaching is developmental and may include assessment, competency development, team building, or assistance planning and implementing strategic projects.
We work with individuals who are newly appointed managers to help them integrate into their new leadership roles. The goal is to clarify, with the leader's key constituents, the most important responsibilities of the new role, key deliverables in the first few months of the new assignment, and ways to integrate the team he or she will lead with the organization. The major focus of this type of coaching is on helping the new leader to assimilate and achieve business objectives.
We help leaders become better coaches of others by helping them develop competencies, tools and techniques that enhance team performance. These leaders learn how to build consensus, reduce conflict among team members, motivate others, establish goals and objectives, and focus on clear outcome-based communication strategies.
